MEET THE STAFF

Christopher Shaw

Christopher grew up right here in Edwardsville, IL. He graduated from Milligan College in Johnson City, TN with a degree in Youth Ministry. Christopher came on staff because he felt called to love on and reach the lost in his hometown.

He is excited for SIUE students to experience God's love and understand His desire for us to be in communion with Him and with each other.

DJ Sterling

DJ grew up in Belleville, IL and graduated from SIUE in 2017 with a degree in music business. During his senior year on campus, DJ felt God calling him to reaching Black students and planted Black Camus Ministries. DJ will continue investing in BCM and bless IV by using his gifts in musical worship. His vision is to see many ethnic groups at SIUE becoming more missionally minded.

Jennifer Beck

Jennifer grew up in a military family. She attended the University of Alaska, Fairbanks and graduated from SIUE in Studio Art and Art Education.

​Through InterVarsity at SIUE, God worked in powerful ways to transform her life and give her a greater love for Him, His Word, and a love for His people that she had not experienced before. Desiring to see others know and to experience the love of God, she came on staff in 2013.
